The watercolor illustrations are hand-painted by Ballarat artist Caroline Keys.
Elizabeth says: “I created Palatable Tea Towels to remind people how wonderful our wine regions are — not just because of the wineries. Our wine regions are outstanding holiday destinations, with beautiful scenery and various complementary attractions and accommodation options.
“I hope people will be reminded of that every time they pick up a tea towel to do the dishes — and start planning their next trip!”
The tea towels can also be a good keepsake for international visitors, who may be limited in how much wine they can return to their home country. A tea towel is, of course, lightweight, non-breakable and crushable.
